After getting this thing home, and I might add that I drove it to a truck for loading, I realized I had bitten off probably more than I could chew. A 1969 GTO Convertible that had been sitting in a field, uncovered, for about 4 years. It had a 68 front end installed because of an earlier collision. The drivetrain was a supposedly rebuilt Pontiac 455 with a 4 speed saginaw transmission. Also a spare car, 68 hardtop Lemans and lots of parts. At the time I thought most of them to be worthy of the junk yard but actually some were a blessing in disguise.
