It was getting close to separation, (I mean the body from the chassis). I had fixed, to my standards, lots of stuff by now and it was time to show this car what I was made of! So off came the body, but I wanted to put it right back on. What I found was a frame that could hardly hold itself up. OK, let's see what the Lemans frame looks like, so off it came. Luckily, it was in much better shape so it now became the doner again. I had to remove the side supports off of the convertible frame for later installation on the hardtop frame since they are a vital piece of support for a convertible. Once they were by themselves, the frame and the chassis both went to the sandblaster, along with a wide assortment of other parts.
