Well, my helper TAZ the cat and I were getting tired of the same old thing so we moved on to new horizons. Remember the supposedly newly rebuilt 455? Once torn down, it revealed a not so good crankshaft so a new one was ordered. I did just about everything I could do to it, even tuned the intake and exhaust ports. I scrapped the Saginaw 4 speed for a fresh T400 automatic (Not my choice, I love 4 speeds, but thought I might try one). They were installed into the frame before I set the body on it. I had made 8 inch spacers to install between the body and the frame. Sure helped out when I welded those hard to reach places. Once on the old frame, I started repairing all the holes that mother nature had created. Trunk drops, rocker panels patches, rear floor panel, toe board panels, inner rear fenders and lastly the rear quarter panels. REMEMBER: ALIGN ALL METAL SURFACES BEFORE MUD! I had thought God created MUD to cover my mistakes. I WAS WRONG!!!
